Tiny baby palisota

I planted all the seeds from my Palisota barteri and now I have a million tiny palisotas. They are so cutee, I'm obsessed with them (not exaggerating). Idk why only the ones around the edge have germinated, I think the middle ones probably got buried deeper and didn't like it (?). There are a few reeally tiny sprouts in the middle so they might still come up, just are taking longer to get through the soil.

I wonder if it's because the edges of the container stay wetter, from drips off the propagator lid? Assuming there is usually a lid?

no i dont think so because they are in a big tub like this.

however, now you mention it, i think it was actually a watering mishap because i think i accidentally dumped water in the middle and possible washed all the seeds to the outside lol. i planted them like 2 ish months ago so i forgot that happened… i have since purchased a fine rose for my watering can
